Maybe I'm confused with another aircraft but...doesn't the TinmouseII have an engine smoke effect? I see it listed in the CFG:[smokesystem]// lon/vert/latsmoke.0 = -16.5, -2.5, -17, fx_smoke_JT8D.fxsmoke.1 = -16.5, -2.5, 17, fx_smoke_JT8D.fxI was under the impression it would run automatically depending on engine thrust. I'm not seeing anything during take-off, for example, when I would expect to.Thanks for any help!

Double check to make sure the file is in the effects folder. It works for me at higher thrust settings, and it's not a heavy black smoke effect as you would expect from say, a B707 or DC-8. But it is there. :(

sorry to bump a topic but yes you should be able to put the jt8d.fx in the effects folder and if you have that code set up it should work...i love it....works wonderfully

I see the problem...the fx_smoke_JT8D.fx file has gone missing. I have NO idea how that happened but I re-installed it and I have the light smoke effect again. That should have been the first thing I checked...Sheesh!
