July 31, 200322 yr Using differential braking to steer the DC3 on the ground works well, but it also works differently than I would have expected. If I press f11 or f12 the plane turns, but it keeps turning even after I release the key. I have to correct by pressing the other key. F11 then f12. F12 then f11. Why does the plane keep turning after the brakes are released?Sidney Schwartz [KPDX]Horizon Air flight plans & scenery:http://sidneyschwartz.homestead.com/index.html
July 31, 200322 yr I just made a quick hop in the DC3, and noticed that if you have the rudder turned right or left the brakes will differentiate, if its dead on you just get brakes.that's as far as I got, will need much more practice at it. A little hard to do but it's neat.joe
July 31, 200322 yr Author Hey, nice find, Joe! It still keeps turning after the brakes are released, but at least it's easier to use the joystick than the keyboard.Sidney Schwartz [KPDX]Horizon Air flight plans & scenery:http://sidneyschwartz.homestead.com/index.html
