March 13, 201016 yr To all,Switching to AS Evolution was a logical step after using both AS 6.5, ASX and ASA.However, now I have run into some annoying problem. When I start FS-x (or fs-9 for that matter) I ALWAYS have to start ASE from scratch. I can't leave it running (it runs on my laptop over a network) while I close down the sim.I mean, I can leave it running but when I restart the sim, there's no way that I can get it to load the weather. The only way to get the correct weather in the sim is then to close down ASE and to restart that as well.I tried it by doing a 'refresh' but all that happens is that ASE starts downloading the weather files again but it doesn't transfer it to the sim. (no 'depiction active' on the screen)The FS-mode says FSX and it's green (which I think means that there is a connection....) but nothing happens.I also tried to be a bit more patient but even after waiting for about half an hour, there's still no weather in the Sim.Is this normal behaviour or is there something wrong on my side?Luc BrusselmansBelgium
March 13, 201016 yr Hi Luc,This has come up a few times and I even tested things out in one thread and reported back that my software always would re-connect. Then in some other threads it was mentioned that the changing of one of the lines in the SimConnect.cfg file helped in connection issues.I can look for the details if you would like, but they were here in the past 2 weeks.

If not you'll hear from me.thanks(also for a great program)Luc BrusselmansBelgium
