I was wondering if anyone is using a Geforce fx 5600 videocard with 44.03 nvidia drivers, and what I can do to get the main 2d cockpit view to come on. Other than that, the Geforc fx5600 video card works okay.

The 44.03's don't work with the FX series and FS2004. This is mentioned in the NEWS section in FS2004 on the startup screen. You must use 44.67 drivers or later. Nvidia hasn't officially released them, but you can find tham at http://www.guru3d.com

I have the same problem with an fx5600 256M, spoke to microsoft this morning 1/8/2003, they told me a new nvidia driver is due out today to fix the problem but nothing yet on the nvidia site
