Any new ideas on how to get FS2004 to go past the splash page? There's a lengthy thread from several days ago with a few suggestions, but none worked for me. Wondering if it's a rampant problem, and if any new ideas to fix it have surfaced over the past few days. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

under STARTUP section of FS9.cfg, which is about the fifth section (FS9.cfg is in C:WINDOWSApplication DataMicrosoftFS9 )change one of the lines to readSHOW_OPENING_SCREEN=0and make SURE you have saved your situation with the box checked off making it your default situation.such that later down the FS9.cfg listing under USERINTERFACE section you get something like but not necessarily this:SITUATION=C:My DocumentsFlight Simulator FilesyourlastflightAllen
