March 28, 201016 yr I have been simming since the original MSFS but have never tried a VA. I noticed there are many listed but when you visit thier web sites, they are gone. I have tried to sign up with Delta and American and have never received a response. Is this a closed society for only pro pilots or what?
March 29, 201016 yr No it is not a closed society. Most VAs will respond within 24 hours or so, but some may take a little longer. One issue I have seen is where a VA has acknowledged your application, but the e-mail ended up in a junk e-mail folder. Make sure you have adjusted your e-mail folder to accept incoming messages from that particular VA.Regards, VATSIM: P2 | I1

March 29, 201016 yr The Gentleman from Canadian Xpress is exactly right. Check the junk mail folder. VA's are anything but a closed society. If you can maneuver an aircraft, take-off and land, there's a VA for you. Your experience as a virtual pilot and what you are looking for in a VA should dictate what VA to join. There are hundreds of them, if not thousands to choose from.Take your time and do your research. Check them out. Read here in Avsim's forum for more information. You can also check with Vatsim's forum. (www.vatsim.net)You can even simply type virtual airline in your search engine to get some ideas.
