March 30, 201016 yr Hey guys,I have a ATI 4870 1GB videocard. I've installed FS2004 on my pc. And after installing and loading my sceneries i went up and did some flights. I've been getting shimmering in the distance or distance textures not loading fully. I installed FSX and cant find any issues with shimmering in that version. However i do have alot of addons in FS2004 and mainly fly IFR i would like to know which drivers you guys use that dont give you guys shimmering on the 4870, or a way to fix this issue.I have AA on Box 4x and AF on 16xIm running Windows 7 64bit.FlyguyAlex.

So u ll have to go again to CCC and reapply the settings.. But with ati even highest settings gives no smooth lines on repaints of user aircraft.. Tamas Mezei
