Default AI Flight Plans

Hi,I was wondering if there was anyway you can delete the default ai traffic for fs2004? thanks in advanceplanenutter

HiIf you don't want any AI traffic at all, you don't need to delete anything as such - simplest way is, from the main screen, to go to 'settings' then 'traffic' and set traffic density to zero. That'd give you an eerie post-apocalyptic FS9 world to fly in.If OTOH you want to replace the delightfully-named "Soar Airlines" etc. with something more, well, believable then you need one of the numerous add-ons which generate replacement traffic files and populate them with AI aircraft. I use the rather elderly Ultimate Traffic which is less than 'ultimate' these days but suits my equally elderly PC. But there are plenty of others. Hope this helps,Tim

Very simple - just rename or delete the file called traffic030528.bgl in Your Scenery\World\Scenery-directory.

The simplest way is to go into the FS2004/Scenery/World/scenery folder and rename the file that starts with Traffic and has some numbers after it to the same name plus .orig on the very end. (i.e. .BGL.orig). Restart FS and all default traffic will be gone.Hope this helps,
