April 10, 201016 yr I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but I was trying to set myself up a cold and dark CRJ700 sitting next to a jetway at KSEA. I had everything pretty much set up, but when I reloaded the flight the jetway was no longer attached.I'm also looking for a more comprehensive shutdown/startup checklist for the CRJ700 and Learjet 45. The kneeboard reference just suggests to use CTRL-E to autostart but I'm looking for the more hardcore experience now :-)Kind regardsDaveSorry - another odd one. Sometimes, when I push back, I don't see the tractor, it's completely invisible. Aircraft still moves as directed though!Kind regardsDave
April 11, 201016 yr Author sorry to bump this so soon, but I wanted to ask about CTRL-SHIFT-F1 and CTRL-SHIFT-F4 - in most jets these are used to turn off and turn on fuel flow, but I can't find the corresponding controls in the VC. Can anyone advise? so many questions, I know :-)kind regardsDave
April 13, 201016 yr Author Due to the deafening silence I've sorted a few of these myself. For future reference, in case anyone cares:-1. Jetway status (and in fact, the status of other AI objects in the sim such as vehicles, planes etc. but not ATC) is not included in the .FLT file. Additionally, not all of the control panel switches are stored in the file neither - you can see this if you edit the FLT file manually, its plain text. The hydraulic switches in the CRJ700 are not saved, for example.2. The invisible tractor tug I guess is a bug, sometimes you see it sometimes you don't. Restarting the flight will sometimes bring it back.3. CTRL-SHIFT-F1 and CTRL-SHIFT-F4 control mixture in a piston plane (which is visible in the VC) but control fuel flow in a jet which is not necessarily visible. The fuel pump switches in the CRJ700 don't seem to be the same thing.4. Detailed checklists for all FSX planes can be found at http://freechecklists.net/simchecklists.asp. I'm not too sure how accurate they are though, sometimes they reference controls that don't exist (the CRJ700 for example doesn't have an avionics master switch but the lear does).Hope this helps in some way.Dave
February 17, 201412 yr Thanks good info, been trying to figure out why jetways state wasn't saved by my FS, now I understand it.
