August 3, 200322 yr I dicided to switch to simple 2D clouds after getting frustrated trying to get a good overcast, only to find out that the overcast looks like this with 2D clouds:http://www.ircore.com/~reaper/uploads/2d_overcast.jpgEven with the so called overcast with the 3D clouds, we still see the hoizon under the clouds like it was in FS2002.
August 3, 200322 yr I dont know about 2D clouds, but with 3D clouds you can create a overcast effect by adding several layers on top of eachother (killed my FPS though). It might work for 2D as well.
