Recommended Posts

S! Guys.I am new to FS X and am lovinit. But i have heard some horror storys about quad core and 64 bit win 7 .At the mo I have a 2 core and vista 32 and it runs ok.My Question is is there something out that i should do to ensure a smooth runing FSX ? Does FSX run ok on this type of sys ? (Win 7, I7 930 ,6gb kinstone hyper x ram, x58 M/Board )Just like to get all my eggs in a row before I start my rebuild.THanksRAF_Smiladon

I'm using exactly your setup, with the 930 clocked at 4Ghz, and I've had zero problems with Win 7 (64 bit, professional). It's nice. Not "perfect FSX" of course, but you'll see a huge improvement on your current rig (I was using a 3ghz quad core, Vista 32 before, and am v happy with the upgrade).
