With the new tutorial on converting models from Sketchup to a format usable by FS I thought that it may be around time to do some scenery design of my own. I am looking for ideas on a small airport that has not been done yet and it would be preferable if somebody had photos of the airport (terminals, hangar, aerial, etc.). This will be my first scenery project so I would expect to finish sometime this year. Any ideas for where to model?

Great idea, thanks for offering. Why not do Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport (KGVL)? Probably nobody has ever done it before, and it seems to be very well documented on the Internet, plenty of pictures. It is somewhere in Georgia, I think, that is Georgia, U.S.A., not the other. :( Best regards.Luis

Wow how did I not think of that! It's just around the corner from me and I've never given it a thought that nobody has done a rendition of it. Thanks for the suggestion Luis I think I'll try my hand at this one and if anybody has any ideas I'm open for those too.**EDIT: As an update I had chosen KCSG Columbus Metropolitan Airport but I saw another developer had one in the works.
