April 21, 201016 yr HiI must say FS is totally un-flyable now because of the sudden temp changes in ASE.Please refer to the screenshots. I have disabled Fog layer generation, which I personally think made it worse. I understand that you guys are working on a fix, but what can I do meanwhile? is there a temporary fix? Shall I switch back to ASA SP1 or ASV 6.5 ???FS9.1WIN7Registered FSUIPC.ThanksNavid Hamzeloo
April 22, 201016 yr Hi,For the time being the best solution we have found in ASE is to turn off Fog Generation. If that seems to make things worse for you, then please do not do so.Not really sure what you think is wrong with a TAT of -66 or -54, but I don't know how long it was between screen shots. The temperature issue we are looking to fix is one where TATs are unrealistically high compared to the data from ASE.

And as you can see from the screenshots, the plane is unflyable.I can see that a few people have reported "Sudden Aloft Temp Change", but yet you are saying there will be an upcoming fix for "TATs are unrealistically high compared to the data from ASE.", which is a totally different issue. Thanks
April 22, 201016 yr Hi,Because of SimConnect we cannot smooth out the temperature changes. Even Pete using FSUIPC 4 could not even come up with anything, hence no option even in FSUIPC to enable temperature smoothing.

This is what amazes me .Thanks
April 22, 201016 yr Hi,Because ASv6.5 directly uses FSUIPC and does not use SimConnect. SimConnect introduced this issue and we cannot work around it just yet.

April 22, 201016 yr Hi, according to the Screenshot this is FS9 not FSX, so ASE doesn't use Simconnect. Jan-Paul
April 23, 201016 yr Hi,That is a good eye and I over looked that. There is no temperature smoothing in FSUIPC 3 either. You will see if the ASE SP1 will help you.
