April 22, 201016 yr Hello!Im having quite irritating problem.. I really can deal with it but if you have any idea why its so please geve me your tips. Here we go:1.Im flying from F/O side with copilot button pressed.2.Useing Copilots side radios as COM2 and NAV2ILS approach with 109.7 to RWY34 KHPN. When flying around and capturing loc with heading by pressing NAV it turns "CAP" as it should. After this is will not accept to press APP ?IF I put same freq to NAV1 side (109.7) and useing LOC1 (Yellow) from Right seat --> Now APP can be pressed and (CAP illuminates) and A/C starts to follow glide automatically. Just have to concentrate throttle anymore.. Why cant I use Right seat + NAV2/COM2 to operate plane?2nd is that why Altitude selector follows anly CPTs side altimeter? Are all these my problems because of wrongly set 3 knobs DADC, AHRS etc.. ?Can someone explain actually the differences between pilotbutton and copilot button.. There is no defference in my J41 :D-M

There is no defference in my J41 :D-M"M",Please sign your full name in the PMDG forums.I can confirm that the APR button isn't working despite proper setup. I'll add it to the database so it can be addressed if/when there is an SP2.A few items to note, however:Even though you're flying on the F/O's side, COM1/NAV1 should still be the primary radios used for comms and navigation. The RMU's are capable of "cross-side" tuning by using the 1/2 button. The EFIS Reversionary panel shouldn't (doesn't) need to be changed as there are no failures that would required a reversionary mode to be selected.Selecting "COPILOT" on the Pilot-in-Command Switch tells the FCS to use the onside navigation systems meaning NAV 2, DADC 2, and AHRS 2. In this case, functions like altitude hold will be referenced to the F/O's altimeter, as you noted.

April 23, 201016 yr Martevuo,Is that your first name, or your last name?I'm not entirely sure I understand your question. Suffice it to say, that I think that the PILOT/COPILOT button isn't doing what it's supposed to be doing. Setting it to COPILOT doesn't seem to cause the FCS to use the F/O's data sources. This manifests itself in several ways, but I haven't had time to test all the scenerios and determine exactly what functions are or aren't working. It's probably not what you want to hear, but the best way to deal with this for the time being is fly from the Captain's side. I'll take some time to test some more, and I'll add any bugs to the tracking database to be fixed for the next SP. (I have no idea when that will happen, btw.)
