April 25, 201016 yr Hello, This last week has been a very crazy week in terms of fsx :( I was flying EHAM-KPHL on vatsim for a virtual airline and my FSX froze right over the PVD VOR, then crashed. After that I decided to try it again, and it froze over the same place! I was just trying to plan a flight on the fsx flight planner to put into the gps of a plan to go KBDL-KFLL, but it crashed every time I tried to drag the red line to a waypoint on the map. I thought it might be a CPU problem so I checked my task manager and went to Processes, then CPU and checked to see how much CPU it was taking to run it. The highest it went to was up to 12. Now I am de-fragging my C:/ drive using the Disk Defragmenter to see if it's a memory issue. Specs: Alienware Windows 7Nvidia GeForce GTX 260.0 Intel ® Core i7 CPU 975@ 3.33GHz 3.33GHz6.00GB of Ram 64 - Bit Operating System-thank youMatthew Miller
April 25, 201016 yr Author hmmmm, just restarted it and it seems to be working now. I will keep posted.-thank youMatthew Miller
April 25, 201016 yr Author Now crashing when I fly KATL-KMSY, tried it 4 times and still crashed. I use FSINN and FSCOPILOT to connect to vatsim and i'm curious to know if that is the problem? It seems like anything can freeze it when FSINN is on, even when I click on the screen to toggle a switch, or go into locked plane view.-thank youMatthew Miller
