I assume you have read the thread about vSync, and that is why you ask?There is no vSync option through the FSX menus. If you have an nVidia video card, you can use a tool called nHancer to set it (works for full-screen mode), and by following the recommendations in the other thread you can set it in FSX.CFG for window mode.I don't have an ATI card, but from reading the thread I understand that owners of these card can now also get vSync in FSX by setting options in the FSX.CFG file.

Yep, I read the entire vSync thread and that is exactly why I am asking the question! I have a nvidia card. I do not run in windowed mode. I have made the two FSX config changes but understand I must also have vSync turned off for the changes to work. Thank you for directing me to the nvidia enhancer to turn vSync off but will this affect how the card will display every game? I just want to turn vSync off for FSX. Thanks

If it's nHancer you are using, then you are on Nvidia, which doesn't need any repairing - if you say you are not running in windowed mode. In Nhancer you can set to On/Off/Application. Set to on and go fly.
