ASE SP1 trouble

Featured Replies

Hi, I used Activesky 6.5 for years, later ASA and now ASE for FS9 and sometimes for FSX...but since ASA I had the same problems with destination wx, dropping clouds and wind changes and and and, described here in lot's of threads. I hoped for a solution with every new version e.g. ASA update, ASE, ASE SP1, but - the problems are still there. I wasted hours of trying this and that, switching off options and on...seems to be not the programm for me. With ASE SP1 for example I can not point during installation to the correct ASE location, have updated ASA with ASE to a differend folder - now I must copy files manually, not the problem but why...is it too difficult to programm an installer wich can ask for a installation folder ?, then as second: I lost my FSX network function and have to establish it new, not my hobby - network troubleshooting. After installation in FS9 I saw the same behaviour like in previous ASA...ASE versions - departing KDEN with cloudy sky - after reaching 3000 ft - from one second to the other - no clouds all around, nowhere. I think - I can try further month for month and wasting time - but I won't. I do not want to switch off all options and use FS-standard aircrafts only to bring ASE to work, maybe to correct wx interpolation. That was not the reason why I bought the programm.Sorry to say this, I'm frustrated too...Best reagards - Ralf(add note: all windows updates installed, system works fine with other addon's, FS9.1 / FSX SP2 under Windows XP SP3)DualCore 3,3 GHz each, Nvidia 9800GTX, 4GB RAM...no problems at all)
