FSX Freeware Airport Scenery

Featured Replies

I checked AVSIM and Flight Sim, found some stuff, wanted some more. I was thinking US or CAN airports, perferibly something Delta, Air Can, or West Jet flies into. Anything really good out there? Thanks.

If you google "tileproxy" I think its the first link. I t is basicly google earth on FSX or FS9 its great and its free!!!!

not many freeware scenery out there, just search the avsim library

It seems that developing quality FSX scenery is a bit more complicated than it was in FS9. I remember when FSX came out, a lot of scenery developers were very upset (FlyTampa for instance). It took them a long time to learn the skills they needed for FSX scenery. I guess, that's the reason FSX is a lot less successfull when it comes to freeware scenery's compared to FS9.There is some very affordable payware scenery by the way. A lot you can buy for less than 20 US$. This weekend (?), FSDreamTeam gives a 40% discount on their products. Not what you asked for, but I hope I helped you a little bit...

Frank van der Werff
