Speeding up ATC Comms

Featured Replies

I just purchased a new I5 750 system and reinstalled FSX with all add-ons etc. But one add-on I forget to copy from my old computer was a utility that "sped up" the ATC voice communications between ATC and Pilot, so that they all don't sound like they're on prozac. Does anyone know the name of the file to which I'm referring? Thanks.

This is probably EditVoicPack you're thinking of - as it does allow the speed up of voice transmisssions.Loyd

Hooked since FS4... now flying: FSX Acceleration on Win7/64, Core Duo E8400; GA-EP45-DS3R; GTX 460-768MB; 4G RAM; Freezer 7 Pro

Yup, spot on Loyd. For the record Bob, I have been using it for some time now with Vista Ultimate 64bit and FSX and the feature to create and import custom call signs into FSX as well as the accelerated ATC comms have worked flawlessly for me.If a flight-simmer likes to have lots of traffic or flies into Class 'C' or Class 'B' airports frequently this freeware program is absolutely worth the one-time installation to accelerate voice comms even if none of it's other features are used in my honest opinion.Best Regards :(

Thanks. I just downloaded this and modified all the voice transmissions in FSX to "Fast". Looks like a very interesting program with a lot of features.
