In the past few months I've noticed that even at FL430 and up I'll often find myself in what appears to be nearly zero visibility.Its like flying in fog and no horizon is visible. These altitudes should almost always be haze-free with the horizon visible. What setting controls this condition? Thanks(everything else is pretty good)

Oh.. I forgot, I'm using ASv6.5 and FS9.

Hi,In ASv6.5 what is your Maximum Visibility set at?For FSUIPC, reset to default settings and weather settings Off.

Max visibility is at 59 (as always) and the registered FSUPIC is weather of (as always).This upper level fog started around the beginning of spring, and it does change a bit from one weather station to the next.

Here's a couple from today while flying over SLCA (Boliva) from Lima Peru to Foz Do Iguacu Brasil.And like I mentioned, this condition comes and goes.. sometimes I'm on top of it with the horizon clearly visible along with some ground and other clouds.The captures below are pretty typical of the issue and when looking down no ground or clouds or anything is visible. The last capture shows what it looks like when the sim is "paused" by hitting the ALT key.

Hi,I see what you mean, but cannot duplicate that on my computer.Have you re-set FSUIPC to Default Settings and Weather Settings Off? There are 2 separate buttons in FSUIPC and they can be just clicked once each.Something is setting your upper visibility to a low value.

I think I defaulted FSUIPC some time ago. UNCHECK "Disable Visibility Graduation", CHECK "Visibility Smoothing", in AS option and see what is goin' to happen'. I think that's maybe the problem.
