SSW A310 with RealityXP incompatibility issue is not yet been solved!

Recommended Posts

Hi all,SSW A310 with RealityXP incompatibility issue is not yet been solved!Who has RealityXP gauges within the gauges folder will have still crashes when trying to load a SSW A310 aircraft and as well as long you have RealityXP gauges AND in the modules folder the SSW DLL you get crashes as well.It seems that SSW has never realy tried to solve this issue and so never communicated with the RealityXP team. No message about that within the SU1.1, just that we should e-mail ssw if any problem with 3th party ADDON comes up...I did send ssw a e-mail and got no reply yet.Another problem is that I cannot load any FS2k2 flightplan into the FMC (MCDU) of the SSW A310. That was a issue befor the SU and still is. There is somehow a way to load some kind of flightplan, but it is NOT the FS2k2 format. Seems to be the FS9 format. But I am not sure, because the german version of FS9 is still not on the german market... I dont have FS9.If the RealityXP incompatibility issue is not solved by end of this week (sunday), I go for a refund. This issue should have been found and fixed within the beta-phase, not after it!

I dont have FS9.As far as I can tell the FS9 .pln format is pretty much the same as the FS2002 .pln format.Perhaps the SSW A310 has its own separate format ?Regards.Ernie.

And here are some more information http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_post...p?TID=4924&PN=1There are also a couple other add-ons affected:http://www.simsoftworkshop.com/forum/showt...hp?threadid=726And the most probable cause without an official word about it seems to be this:Without entering in too many details, here is what they seem to use:http://www.sonic.net/~undoc/ntcallgate.htmlTaking control at the ring0 level on your computer means that the program running this, could potentialy run any code, without your computer or your anti virus or your firewall know about. This is something used by some copy protection mechanism, and also something used by some viruses and trojan horses.Hope this helps!
