It is quite easy to add this as a 2D pop-up gauge. For the sake of illustration, let's take thedefault C208B as the aircraft in which to install the AN75 radar.First, move the gauge file "RathyeonANR75.CAB" into your main FSX gauge folder. Do notunzip or de-cab the file. Just move it as is. This file contains the radar gauge files andthe icon file that is used to toggle the radar pop-up window.Next, open the default C208B "panel" folder and within that open the file "panel.cfg"with a text editor. At the top of the panel.cfg file, add a new entry under the [Window Titles] section.Use the next available number for the "Windowxx=" entry.An example is:Window11=ANR75 RadarNext, you must add the new "Window11". Scroll down to the "Window10" entry,and add this code just above the "Vcockpit01":
//-----------------------[Window11]Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=256,256position=7visible=0ident=440  // For use with Radar Iconwindow_size= 0.400, 0.500window_pos= 0.243, 0.280gauge00=RathyeonANR75!radar,  0,0,256,256//-----------------------------

Next we will add the icon to toggle the radar pop-up window to both the2D cockpit and the VC.In the VC cockpit. To make room for the icon I resized the number plaque gauge, thenadded the radar icon gauge in the area that was freed up.Under the "Vcockpit01" window, make the following change:

gauge19=n_number_plaque!n_number_plaque, 292,430,64,25 //267,430,89,25 make room for icon
Add the following line:
gauge24=RathyeonANR75!Radar Icon, 267,430,25,25
That will give you an icon located next to the number plaque that will toggle the radar window in the VC.Now, in the "Window00" section make the following change and add the line shown:
gauge39=n_number_plaque!n_number_plaque, 339,500,49,19 //320,500,67,19 make room for icon//--------------------------------gauge40=RathyeonANR75!Radar Icon, 320,500,19,19
This will place the radar toggle icon next to the number plaque in the 2D cockpit.As an alternative location, just add this line and the icon will be placed on the rightof all the existing icons jsut under the glare shield:
gauge40=RathyeonANR75!Radar Icon, 749,212,19,19
Save the "panel.cfg" file and you should be all set.A similar porcedure for add the radar WINDOW can be used on any aircraft. Theprocedure for placement of the icon will depend upon where you have free space in the 2D cockpit window(s) and for the VC. Many VC's will not allow you to addgauges (the icon) to the existing VC as all the gauges are mapped to specificlocations. That is why the "resize the number plaque" gauge technique was usedabove. This places the new gauge in the "hole" created by resizing an existing VC gauge.Hope this helps. Paul

Wow. Thank you for that. I will reply and let you know how it goes. Thanks again for all your help.

I got it installed and working. But no other aircraft are showing up on the display. Any ideas on that one?
