August 8, 200322 yr For aircraft which have a TO/GA gauge, I have not been able to get takeoff power to go above about 86% useing this function. Does anybody know where, or how to raise the limit on this item? Just opening the throttles up full open works fine, but of course everything is redlined. Thanks:RTH
August 9, 200322 yr In the aircraft.cfg file for each airplane there is a subsection called [autopilot] and there is a parameter that specifies the autothrottle_max_rpm value. Mine is set for 90 (as in 90%) and the autothrottle_takeoff_ga value is set to 1 (or on). That is where I would start adjusting values to see if it increases as you like.Bob
August 9, 200322 yr Use AirEd and modify the air file setting, but I don't remember off the top of my head which one it is. There is a setting for EPR when using the TOGA function. I changed if for the default 744 on FS2002. It made a difference on takeoff but it doesn't compensate for the full range of settings as the control for EPR or N1 settings are hard coded in the panel gauges.
