Sticky CH yoke solution.

Featured Replies

Asked my wifes uncle who has a Warrior II what he uses on the yoke shaft when he gets his annual done. He said " Caliper grease" for brakes. Bought some from pep boys and it transformed the feel of my old ch yoke. Super smooth and tiny inputs are now easy to do. I can fly with one finger now. Just dont get it on your clothes or on your keyboard.. ***You have been warned** A little goes along way.

Since most greases are petroleum products and the yoke shaft and bushings are made of plastic (another petroleum product), I'm afraid to combine them. I thought CH recommended a silicone lubricant. Anyway, nothing seemed to work for me anyway except tearing the dumb thing apart and rebuilding it with my own bushing configuration minus any grease.

The stuff I found is synthetic and says its rubber and plastic safe. Made by CRC and is in a black and white tube.

Sounds like the right stuff. Do you buy it at an auto parts store?
