What exactly does the "lock to closest" option do?I decide to set up a flight at CYYY, where the Wx is 050/03, overcast and 0 vis. I install a graphics snapshot and start FSX. The weather, however, is nothing like what is forecast for CYYY, with different winds, cloud and visibility. What puzzles me is that if I check "lock to closest", ASE says that the closest station is LCLK, in Cyprus - which explains the fine weather!!I'm running ASE build 572, plus X Graphics, FSGlobalX 2010, ORBX FTX, UT2 - all in FSX acceleration in Win 7 64-bit. FSUIPC 4.40 registered.I've followed Jim's suggested settings in his helpful, recent post - except that I'm not using DWC, but rather wind smoothing and suppress variance in FSUIPC.Does "lock to closest" mean that ASE thinks that I'm in Cyprus rather than Canada??TIAJeff

Hi Jeff,That option locks the ASE Report screen to your location in FS.I just tested out my ASE and FSX and went to that airport and ASE recognized my location and current weather. Are you finding that ASE is only giving you the wrong location here or anywhere you move in FS?Please attach your ASE_Log.txt file to your answer as tha might provide some clues also.
