June 3, 201016 yr Hi, If your equipment is SLI capable and you have not tried it yet, run tileproxy in SLI mode. smooth, smooth.
June 7, 201015 yr What kind of rig do you have? I've been juggling components between my Core2 Duo and my Core2 Quad, but have two nVidia 9800GTX+ cards that I used to run in SLI on the Duo. It just didn't appear to be that much help in the games/sims I play, but then I wasn't running TileProxy at the time.
June 7, 201015 yr LOL, actually nevermind. I just viewed another thread where you listed your specs. You have a somewhat similar setup to me, except I'm running WinXP 64bit on an ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo board. Also, I just hooked it up to my 42"plasma television in the living room, running video and sound through my Onkyo Home Theatre system. Lovin it!! But I am curious about the SLI deal. Have you run a test with and without SLI to see what your framerate and load times are like?

I thought TP. run much smoother. its not hard to get TP. to stutter. as far as framerates go, i locked mine in at 20fps. so i would not have seen any change.
