I know it's supposed to be in the My Documents folder but it's not there!I have tried to search for it on all my partitions, making sure that hidden files are shown but it just isn't there :-eek What's the EXACT filename of the file, and in which directory is it located? I do have a "Flight Simulator Files" folder in My Documents but it only contanis flightplans, flights and weather, no cfg files. I have a Swedish localized version of WinXP, so maybe the different names of the directories are causing problems?

Thanx :DI find it odd that the file did not appear when I searhed for "fs9.cfg" but maybe Search in Windows XP skips the Application Data folder?

You are right, Windows XP search by default excludes hidden folders and files. I don't think that file is hidden specifically, but the folder "application data" is a hidden folder.You can change the search function to include hidden files and folders, but I think you have to go to the advanced settings in the search tool.Jesse
