NGX Airstairs

Featured Replies

Will the airstairs be animated in NGX?Ulf :( Sweden

To fully simulate them accurately, PMDG would have to have them occasionally jam and refuse to either deploy or retract, or clatter and squeal horribly as they fold up incorrectly and bend themselves out of shape, and then eventually simulate a maintenance guy coming out to the aircraft to shove them back in and completely disable their operation so the aircraft can be dispatched LOLThat really would be as real as it gets.Al

You must have read my mind when I read this, Al. :)They are not nearly as finicky as the rear air-stairs on early 737's.

Yup, it is perhaps a bit mean of me to compare what was common on the old 737s to the much improved ones the NG has, but I never let facts get in the way of a good laugh.Al
