Adding FX to imported aircrafts

How do you add e.g. the windscreendroplets to the VC with imported aircrafts in FS2004. indeed I was thining about adding some lines to the {EFFECT} part of the airdraft.cfg but nothing, but these effects have to be someone being declared?Anyone??? oh peehaps the FS2004 updates Commander from Milton has solved the problem.
