ATC program

Featured Replies

I got FSX running great with Flightsim commander, Active Sky evolution, REX 2, GEX, UTX etc... One thing ive neglected..ATC. Ive heard alot of good things about Radar Contact 4. Im not sure if its what im looking for. I have to admit, ATC is one of the things I like least about flying and most of the time I dont use it in FSX. But I would like to hear it as backround noise to give things a little bump up in feeling real. I dont care for the robotic voices of FSX and I think RC4 uses the same type of robotic voice. Vatsim is cool, Ive tried it a few times, but its hit or miss depending on where I want to fly and who is on.Looking in the AVSIM library, if found FSChatter Live. I downloaded and installed it. It plays live ATC from whatever Airports you set up in it through the radio in the plane. You just tune the radio to that frequecy. Only tried it once so far and it worked like a charm. It was fun to listen to while flying and made things seem real even though none of it corresponds with whats going on outside my window. I can still use the default ATC at the same time, which is nice. I suppose RC4 would still work too. not sure about that. If it does, I would be in flight sim nirvana. I guess Ill give RC4 a try and see.Rob
