June 22, 201015 yr hi mates, loading a saved flight, I get wierd Cabin Altitude values and corresponding alerts, just like in the screenshot below. However only in flight, not on ground.Though I suspect it's Active Sky changing whatever values, I'd like to ask for your help possibly solving this. Thank you in advance for sharing any ideas.Cheers NorbertFSX on Win 7-64, Inst. Addons MD-11, JS41, REX, ASE, FSUIPC, ORBX, IVAO Client,
June 22, 201015 yr This is a common problem when loading a saved flight, I have had all sorts of similar issues when reloading saves so I can practice different approach types. Jay Vorkapic
September 23, 201114 yr If you are still having this issue, maybe this will help. The panel state load file has a corrupt Cabin Altitude Value.Go into your FSX directory, then PMDG/747400/PanelStateLook for the saved flight that has the cabin altitude warning when it loads. It will be the .sav file.Edit this file with notepad. (Right click on it and select edit).Under [PressurizationSystem.0] is the setting for Cabin Altitude.Set it to a value where it should be. It doesn't need to be exact, but appropriate to the aircraft's altitude for the pressurization schedule. For example- cruise flight, set it to Cabin Altitude=8000 I hope this helps... It worked for me.
September 23, 201114 yr As G5Jimmy said, the panelstate .sav file has a wrong (negative) value for the cabin altidtude. If you are using FS9, open the corresponding .sav file in the folder 'PMDG/md11/PanelState' with notepad, search the section [Pressurization] and change CabinAltitude to a positive number. This should work. Michael M. Wiendl
