June 25, 201015 yr Please help In 15 years span utilizing the flight simulator I never had crash as the one I've been experiencing recently. It started a couple weeks ago on XP right before switching to windows 7. Suddenly along the flight on the airport sceneries the screen goes static, everything freezes, no keyboard, no mousse and the only way to recover my PC to work is to turn it off and back on. The FS has to be restarted or, when placing an aircraft on a runway or starting rolling on the aprom the screen goes black and the FS shuts itself offPlease helpZungaMY CONFIGAMD ATHLON II 2504 GB RAMATI HIS 4850 512MB (CATALYST 10.6)WINDOWS 7 64 BIT FS9
June 25, 201015 yr This was happening to me with the new ATI Catalyst software and drivers -- anything after, like v1001, I think. I found that if I backed off the overclocking on my ATI 4870 just a little bit, it stopped behaving badly. Smooth Skies! -- Chuck B.
