Installing 2004 to a partition - good / bad idea?

I'm contemplating a partition specifically for 2004, which can be labelled F Drive or whatever. But the many installation headaches aired in this forum make me wonder whether 2004 will in fact install happily into anything other than C. Has anyone tried this? Any snags? Advice would be very welcome.

Hi,I had no problems at all installing to another partition. I personally don't know of any program that has a problem installing to any partition that you want.Ed
