WideView allows FS multiple views to be displayed over multiple monitors via multiple networked computers.Another option is to simply drive 2 monitors/ 2 views from your video card. Add a second vid card to drive a third monitor & view. If you then adjust the outer views angles via Panel Cfg (FS9) or Camera (FSX) to compensate for the bezels separation, you create what the brain sees as a single very wide image. (Add another card for a fourth monitor below, where you can cluster the panel/instruments, leaving 3 mons above with nothing but a triple wide view!)Triple monitors work very well- even on a 6 year old PC like mine.Alex Reid
July 14, 201015 yr yes that is a smarter way to go. but how do I insert another video card on my motherboard? I have only one AGP slot. Should i get some pci slot videocards? is that an option? Should i get some pci slot videocards? is that an option? That is exactly how I do it- An AGP GeForce FX5200 plus a similar PCI card. Other simmers say you can can use different families of card or even different manufacture- but you then would also need multiple GPU drivers. It's not difficult to setup although a bit confusing just initially. The result is well worthwhile!Lots posted in the forums to help.Alex ReidComparison pics below show the difference. [@ Duluth R27] The lower scene is actually 45" wide & 26" eye to monitors. The equivalent peripheral view in an IMAX movie theater would require you to sit just 42' from the 72' wide triple screens!
July 15, 201015 yr wow ! That is very impressive. What does similar pci card mean? do you have a geforcefx5200 AGP + geforcefx5200 PCIHow did you remove the bezel from the monitors, or did you? what is 45" wide & 26" eye to monitors. mean?? This is definitely better than the overhead projector quality. Are these regular off the shelf lcd monitors?

But they can be different. Perhaps easiest if both cards can utilize the same video driver- otherwise you will have to deal with two drivers. My cards (and computer) are 6 years old- by all means use newer cards.Bezels are not removed. Screen shots do that and they also show the outer monitors in a flat plane- even though the outers are angled toward the pilot at about 40
