July 15, 201015 yr hi guys, this is an update to the earlier post i did, about what would happen if you saved, then went back into that flight, well i did that, and this happened.the A/C went bonkers and i ended up with 3 engine fires, and 12000 feet above cruise alt.
July 15, 201015 yr Commercial Member Did you load that after having already had a different complex aircraft or a different livery/variant of the 747 already loaded? Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

July 15, 201015 yr Commercial Member You need to completely shut down FSX before switching between different complex aircraft, even if it's two different liveries of the same plane (FSX sees that as two different aircraft loading sequences). It's a quirk of FSX, something doesn't reinitialize right internally and you'll see strange problems like the phantom engine fires etc... Try starting up FSX, go to the Free Flight screen and then hit Load, load the saved flight from there directly and it should come up ok in the sim. If you load the exact same aircraft with the same livery as the saved flight is, and then load the saved flight, that should work too. Loading just the panel state is fine at any time as that doesn't actually involve FSX's save flight system. There is an issue that can occur where the autothrust mode doesn't load up correctly after loading a saved flight, if that happens just cycle the AT and FD switches, reengage your modes on the MCP and that'll fix it.
