July 18, 201015 yr Can anyone tell me when these two files are invoked by FS9? I've found a great replacement groundroll.wav file by Peter James here in the library and I would like to use it with all my aircraft, and I though I would just rename Mr. James' file BNROLL.WAV and make a copy of it and name it BNROLL2.WAV but, of course, I don't want to screw anything up. July 18, 201015 yr Hello, would just rename Mr. James' file BNROLL.WAV and make a copy of it and name it BNROLL2.WAV but, of course, I don't want to screw anything up.Simple :)Save somewhere your original files .. and use the Mr James renamed for test ...Not satisfied ? just put the two originals again.Regards.Gus.
July 18, 201015 yr Author Yes, Gus, that's what I was going to do. But I would still like to know what each is - for all I know one could be for the PSS and another for the PMDG, and it may be days or weeks before I fly either one of them, but I WILL fly them. At that point I may not remember what had been changed and end up spending hours on it before figuring it out again. Do you see? Does anyone know what these two different files do? My sound.cfg in the PSS references them in this way:[GROUND_ROLL]filename=bnrollflags=125218minimum_volume=6000maximum_volume=10000minimum_speed=3maximum_speed=55minimum_rate=0.80maximum_rate=1.60link=GROUND_ROLL1[GROUND_ROLL1]filename=bnroll2flags=135380What's the difference between 'GROUND_ROLL' and GROUND_ROLL1 ??
