July 20, 201015 yr How about this?https://www.insight.com/search/ppp.web?mate...d=VS694UT%23ABA You know what? I've a funny example of machines. First, yes sometimes I'll probably buy an intel and OC it. But for now I fly with mainly two machines (4 with others add-ons). The main one is a PhenomII 840, it had a GTX285 but I switched it for two 5850's. This solved many mysticals graphics things. So I liked the nvidia but the Ati's performs better.I fly with three screens. And this "main" machine provide the two sides with higher graphics settings (FPS around 60) The center screen come from a HP bulk coming from a supermarket shelf between pants and bananas. It's also a PhenomII and the GPU is the magical and modest 4650 (remember Matjis Kok?). The whole box costs three times less than the "main" comp. Actually it performs very well (captainSim is a good benchmark). Both runs W7 64. Both fsx.cfg are tweaked. The multiscreen setup goes via Wideview.I also fly FS9 with three screens without Wideview, the two ATI's performs just as they should. Conclusion: three times cheaper, fully silent and right out the box with HP "crap" softwares = no problems. The other one, I installed three times windows and also FS, changed GPU's. Now it's working..RV
July 20, 201015 yr How about this?https://www.insight.com/search/ppp.web?mate...d=VS694UT%23ABA No, no and no. The price is way to high for those components. Even if you add it up, including W7, I get to 900
July 20, 201015 yr agree 1000% with KostaI had never built a system before and if I can everybody can haha. It's so much fun, so take some time to get the info you need and you won't regret it. And overclocking is way too easy and safe nowadays to pass on it No, no and no. The price is way to high for those components. Even if you add it up, including W7, I get to 900
July 20, 201015 yr So is self-building just adding graphics cards and stuff? I mean my computer is really old and isnt doing so well. I wouldnt want to add things to this computer....Im trying to look for another Vista thats cheap. Then THAT one would be my FSX one and my computer that i listed the specs on would be just for internet and things. No, no and no. The price is way to high for those components. Even if you add it up, including W7, I get to 900

July 20, 201015 yr that's not enough for FSX either. because it's FSX that you're looking to run here right? how much are you willing to spend?are you overclocking?

Ask how if you don't get it.And NO, this does not mean you take your old computer. You can use that one for communicating here. The other one you build step by step, from beginning up!What about this?http://www.emachines.com/products/products...?prod=EL1210-11 *sigh* I give up...
July 21, 201015 yr Word Not Allowed, i bought this computer for 100 bucks...and it gives me 30 FPS when all texture is off and 15 when all texture is ON...so this REALLY improved FSX and i LOVE the computer. Its smaller and is MUCH quieter and it comes with GeForce which boosted it up and i will never regret it. It was just what i was looking for... :(My old computer (which is the one with the listed specs on here) had .1 FPS for all texture ON, and 5 FPS for all texture on. Since you mentioned only texture on or off, I guess you are way below the class that anything anyone uses here. Loading any decent aircraft into the FSX or having any bit of decent graphics is for you not important I guess.Good luck!
