Featured Replies

When starting FSX it crash every time giving following errormsg: Your computer has run out of available memory ... see screenshot.I changed fsx.cfg and scenery.cfg files from current to default ones but result was same. Then I deleted fsx.cfg file and started FSX and there was only few lines in new fsx.cfg file: [GRAPHICS]SHADER_CACHE_PRIMED_10=1693458432[sOUND]AmbientUIMusicVolume=-6.000000Then I deleted scenery.cfg file and started FSX again and it didn't give this errormsg only told that scenery.cfg is missing and reinstall FSX.I did reinstall FSX but the error is same. Any idea which could healt FSX or do I hve to uninstall and install it again.

You need to read this excellent article on how to set up FSX and tune it, especially the section regarding memory switches to prevent out of memory errors: http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=29041Best regards,Jim
