July 31, 201015 yr Hi,Recently i installed a new cpu cooler and had to move my memory modules to slots 3 & 4. They wouldnt fit in 1 & 2 because of the large heat-sinks and the new cooler being in the way. This caused the system to develop delays which were noticeable in FSX.As i scanned through the BIOS i noticed that the trfc values for the unoccupied slots were set differently to the occupied slots. In my case slots 3 & 4 were at 127.5ns and 1 & 2 were at 75ns.After putting them all to 127.5ns the system had no more delays and FSX had no stutters. If your having stutters check that out in the BIOS, you may have to set the memory timings to 'manual'.I hope this may help some.David Ranieri.

August 3, 201015 yr Author hi ias,Look for something like DRAM/Memory configuration/timing. Apparently it is a good idea to have the unnocupied slots set to the same timing as the occupied ones, but i have tosay that there were other problems with my bios settings that needed to be changed. If your interested in overclocking check out this thread: http://www.techreaction.net/forums/showthread.php?t=367It can help alot.later.David
