I have the Nvidia Gf2

Can I change the Display perimeters to pick up the performance difference everyone seems to be achieving?MB

Howdy,Yep; download Riva Tuner from http://www.guru3d.com/ and you should be away laughing (well ... of course you won't get the water reflections, but from what I've already seen, I suspect we ain't missin' much :-lol ).Actually, the best way of achieving a good, solid performance in 2K4 is to get the right drivers for your video card ... the official nVidia 30.82s seem to hit the so-called "sweet spot" on my rig; am achieving a stable 20 fps (much better than the 9.7 average I was getting with the latest 45.23s). YMMV, of course.

did you get your 30.82's at guru3d? I have the same geforce 2/mx400 and if it would make a difference I would try them. Actually I think my system came with 30.82 and over time I have updated to current 44.03. Frame rates are marginally acceptable. Around large aorports in clouds I get some stuttering, and thats with willis cloud fix and sliders mid to low.I added 512 RAM to 1GB and no real difference from what I can tell. thanksBill

Howdy Bill,Yep; got them (again) from Guru just the other day (try the nVidia drivers page: 4; you will find both XP/2000 and 98/ME sets there).Hope they work for you as good as they're workin' for me. :-)
