Hopefully someone will be able to help me with this one, it is making me crazy. My media player stopped playing some .wav files, so some of the aircraft in my sim no longer have any sound. I have tried re-installing FS2004, and also tried re-installing the Windows Media Player, all to no avail. I can go into the aircraft sound folders, and when I try to play the .wav file, the media player says "sending request for codec", then it gives me an unknown error. Anybody have any ideas? I am getting really frustrated and not sure what to try next!

Visit the tip and tricks section of this forum. Look for LOST ATC | No ATC, etc. You probably disabled or deleted the compressed audio codecs and need to enable/reinstall them.W. Sieffert
