If I program my FMC while at the gate and enter my position on the LSK 1L and the airport designator k*** on LSK 2L then taxi to the runway does the computer recognize my position ?

If I understand your question, yes. The PMDG 737 NG does not model the IRS system, and the FMC position also draws from the dual GPS units automatically. Inputting an airport is all that is required on the POS INIT page.
