Amazing what "golf ball" sized hail will do to an aircraft travelling at 400Kts.

That is insane!I bet the copilot had to change his cloths after that encounter! I know I would have soiled myself seeing that crack in the windshield.

Yep, that's called running home with your tail between your legs.... Bad day for the pilot, and I'm sure there was a firing that went along with that conversation....Cheers,BGercke

Yeah, I can see how that conversation went..."Did you SEE that big ole blotch on your Weather Radar that looked a bit "angry"?"Yeah, but I figured the box would beep or something if it was REALLY bad....."
