  1. Update: 1. I loaded a stock plane, 2. switched to developer mode, 3. Switched to Pc12 4. Exited developer mode Seems to work normally. However, it’s a strange thing to have to do this each time. Never had to do this before. Not sure what changed. thank you for the tip - Kevin
  2. Thank you for the reply. I’m using FSX. I’ll give it a try. But feel I’ve loaded a default plane and still no joy. Kinda an odd issue as this seems to be the only plane doing this. - Kevin
  3. Hello all. I’m in need of some assistance with an issues I’m having with the PC12. When I load the plane in cold and dark the landing gear is in the up position, I can’t move the PCL, or condition lever, and other weird things. I’ve tried toggling between legacy and lock in cockpit interaction. I’ve tried to uninstall and reinstall. PC12 worked great at one time. Then three weeks later it’s not working as before. It seems when selecting a switch or lever, it responds as normal, but no animation. Example the Generator 1 and 2 are in the on position in cold and dark. Yet red light on showing its off. When selected red light goes out. This is odd and unfortunately I’m not able to solve the problem. I look forward to a possible solution to this issue. Thank you community. - Kevin
  4. Greetings all, I was hoping you might tell me what I am doing wrong. I am going through the checklist step by step, yet I am not able to get the engines to start. Would someone please help me shed some light on this subject? Thank you, Kevin
  5. I read through the documentation, but can't for the life of me figure out setting the fuel quantity. It tells me I have low fuel on the PFD but I started the flight with half tanks and plenty to get to my destination. Is this normal for the Corvalis, or am I missing a setting in the systems section? Thank you, Kevin
  6. I've got 2 hours in and no complaints. Great addition to the hanger. Running REX Essentials + OD, REX Soft Clouds, Orbx FTX scenery... LOOKS AMAZING! I like how it handles, the textures are amazing. The sunset in the window I spectacular. Worth it! Kevin
  7. Thank you Slip-Stream. I will give this a try. Take care, Kevin
  8. Greetings all, I would greatly appreciate anyones help in decifering what this fatal error means and how I can fix it. I am running FSX Acceleration with updates SP. I have moved sliders down thinking it was a memory issue. I am running 8 gig memory, Nvidia Geforce GT 540M with drivers 340.52. Let me know what other information you may need. The CTD happens when I try to exit the fligh to go to the main menu or exit FSX all together. 9. Greetings fellow Hawker drivers... This is a great addon. Very cool in many ways. The only issue I am having when hand flying is my approach speed. Is there an average speed I should shoot for when crossing the threshold? I seem to carry too much speed and float down the runway. To slow and when I cut the power I slam onto the runway. Granted speed will vary based on weight, air temp, airport altitude, etc. In this case I am just looking for an average of what works. Any tips for setting up approach would be beneficial as well. For example when I set up my ILS approach, what speed should I be at when crossing the IAF. Then as I make the approach speeds at which to add flaps, gear, etc. Thanks all, Kevin
  10. Also on the pilots left side there is a panel of buttons to switch from comm 1 to comm 2, etc. It is hidden under the window frame. Kevin.
  11. Elect light... Darn auto correct... If there was an eject light then there are some real issues! :-)
  12. hello all. The eject light that flashes...what is it? What does it mean? And should I try to turn it off? Thanks. Kevin
  13. Never mind. Select nav button then. Scroll. Just have to have mouse in right spot.
  14. I know...why VOR track when there sophisticated computers. Sometimes it's just nice. Has anyone figured how to do this? I see I can press a button above the MFD it looks like there is an option to scroll between FMS, VOR 1 and VOR 2. I just can seem to figure out the way to select it. Thanks Kevin
  15. I got it working and this thing is amazing! My FSX setup was due for a clean install. So I uninstalled everything then reinstalled only what I really use. Doing so was the key for me. I just did a flight with the Hawker and it is smooth. Looks and sounds great. True not everyone wants to do a reinstall of FSX. But trust me it's good to due every now and then. So for those running into issues this might be a good time to do aspiring cleaning of your FSX setup. Kevin
  16. Carenado told me as well to reinstall SP2. I went to unistall and it says its not installed. But when I went to install SP2 it says it is installed and no updates were made. Does anyone have some tips on how I can unistall/installl SP2? Also, I don't seem to have the Proline21 guage in my gauges folder to remove. Anyone else experience this. I am starting to wonder if it is time for a fresh install of FSX... What a pain in the.....that would be...LOL. Thank you... Kevin
  17. Greetings all, I am curious as well. I sent a request to the Carenado team for support on this issue. I even tried turning the gauge resolution down and this did not resolve. What happens to me is the Hawker loads fine. FPS are 20 or better. That is normal for my set up. Then as soon as i turn on the battery the frames drasticly drop to 0.6. I tried clicking around the panel as mentioned in this post, but no joy. Any other ideas people have to resolve would be fantastic. I have had good success with Carenado support. What they come back with I will share here as well. Kevin
  18. I am still testing but I found something interesting. When I first loaded I got terrible fps. Similar to what others were describing. I then did a complete uninstall as the Phenom was unflyable. Then I did a file and registry clean using CCleaner. This removes all temp files and fixes registry issues. Anyway, then I went to fly the TBM850 (carenado). I noticed the static elements were missing. I had to reinstall the TBM to get it set back to normal. This got me thinking if the 2 products were interfering with each other. So I uninstalled the TBM and then installed the Phenom and shezam! The Phenom flew wonderful. No stutters or fps coming to a halt. I then reinstalled the TBM to see if all is still well. I have not tested this yet. But I may or may not be onto something. It could have just been a bad install. I hope those having issues find this helpful. I plan to share these thoughts with carenado. Best of luck. Kevin
  19. There really is not comparison between this and the A2A 172. Both are solid in their own right. Cutlas has a few issues to sort, but that is what service packs are for... LOL Kevin
  20. Alabeo makes a great product and I am glad I purchased the Cutlas. The bugs right off the bat are: 1. The knob for the #1 com radio turns the frequency for the active not the in-active. 2. Flying in icing or close to icing conditions carberator icing takes place way too quickly. Have to fly with the carberator heat on at all condtions of flight. As a real pilot I haver never experienced winter flying where I had to fly with carb heat on at all times. Even at high RPMs. Thank you Alabeo for offeirng a nice product. I look forward to the service release that fixes these issues. Kevin
  21. Moving the mouse forward did not solve the issue. The issue seems to be with the new MilViz 407 helicopter. It doesn't happen all the time, but when I load the 407 I cannot select the controls. Then if I load another aircraft it works fine. I am hoping to get a solution. I may post this as well on the Milviz site for further answers. Take care and thank you. Kevin
  22. I've searched but cannot find the answer I am looking for. If there is an answer and I am not using the right search parameters, feel free to correct me and show me a link. The issue doesn't happen all the time. However, occasionally FSX will start up fine, the flight loads fine, and when I pan around the virtual cockpit, I am not able to select knobs, switches, dials, etc. I can see my mouse cursor, but it doesn't change to the hand when over a switch, knob or dial. I am looking for an answer to this oddity. My system is: W7 - 64bit | 8 gig | GT540M - 1 gig | No Overclocking | FSX service pack 2 | Firewall ON | FSUIPC: Free | UAC OFF | I set properties of the exe file to RUN AS ADMIN in Win XP mode Thank you. I look forward to some ideas. Kevin
  23. Greetings fellow Cirrus drivers... Last night I noticed something odd regarding the vor needles or lack there of. I'll try to explain the best I can. I was getting ready to make my ILS approach. I set the ILS frequency in the #1 nav, then put a VOR freq in the #2 nav so I could keep tracking to the IAF. All freq was set correct. I was too far away for the ILS to pick up. But when I activated the ILS in the #1 nav the VOR in the #2 nav didn't show the needle. I saw the DME for the #2 nav still working, but the needle was not showing in the HSI. Is this normal for this type of equipment or is this a bug to be addressed by Carenado? Do I need to set something up so I can see the #2 needle? I hope this makes sense. Thank you all for your input. Kevin
  24. What I like about Carenado products is the little things... I noticed when I brake there is animation in the nose gear assembly. The free caster wheel is a very cool feature. Sure they could have made the aircraft taxi like a default FSX plane. But the little things are what sets this and all Carenado products stand out from the rest. Definitely worth it. Kevin
