VOR tracking?

Featured Replies

I know...why VOR track when there sophisticated computers. Sometimes it's just nice.

Has anyone figured how to do this? I see I can press a button above the MFD it looks like there is an option to scroll between FMS, VOR 1 and VOR 2. I just can seem to figure out the way to select it.

Thanks

Kevin

On the real plane it's far easier.

It's a four step operation for some reason on this sim version:

1) Press NAV/BRG button above the glass

2) Choose either RSK to the right of BRG source (right side buttons on the pilot's PFD) to highlight the top right or bottom right box

3) Use the "MENU ADV / DATA" button two knobs on the far left console (low and left of the AoA gauge) - "menu knob" should show up for tooltip to scroll through the options

4) Press the NAV/BRG button again to confirm selection

You can also manipulate which source is preset using that technique (for the LSK key next to PRESET left of the pilot's PFD)

Never mind. Select nav button then. Scroll. Just have to have mouse in right spot.

Yeah but that only swaps between two options...  You can configure it at least to swap between the two you want.

Anyway I thought he was talking about the RMI needles... so my steps work for that.
