September 2, 200322 yr I was contimplating adding a dual head PCI card for simming purposes, panel on one screen, outside view on the top. A few questions regarding this.1) Has anyone seen a performance reduction with 2 video cards on FS2002 and 2004... I am more interested in 2002 for now because all the toys work for it now..2004 was uninstalled many moons ago.2) The PCI card I was looking at was an ATI Radeon 9500... my main AGP card is a Leadtek Geforce 4200 TI, is there going to be a conflict in drivers anywhere... for some reason I remember reading somewhere about conflicts... could be wrong.3) Will the 2 monitors be able to be used off the PCI, or is XP limited to only 1 additional monitor? Thanks,Chris
September 2, 200322 yr FS2004 does not like my pci vid card where as FS2002 worked fine with it. There is a small performance hit for putting panels and instruments on other monitors and a massive performance hit if you try to put two 3d views on 2 monitors. For that its best to use multiple computers and FSWide.Speed.
