September 5, 200322 yr http://simulationwidgets.com:8080/FSBrowser/index.htmIs this any thing related to MeatWaters idea? Seems kind of the same... :-hmmmJason :-wave
September 5, 200322 yr Went to the site, clicked on and the screen is blank... Looked for an email address, but no luck..It appears they just added a template and changed the graphic of the Kneeboard. And added a couple of features, etc.It appears you still can't resize it. Which is a feature that is really needed.Barry
September 5, 200322 yr http://simulationwidgets.com:8080/WC2/download.htm You have to download the free Novice Edition of WeatherCenter2. A seperate installer for FSBrowser is included inside the folder. Once FSBrowser is brought up in FS9 (File/Browser) the window can be "undocked" and resized or minimized.FSBrowser has been around for quite some time. I have both, FSBrowser and Meatwater's virtual pilot.
September 5, 200322 yr Hi, Dogknot->You have to download the free Novice Edition of>WeatherCenter2. A seperate installer for FSBrowser is included>inside the folder.Aha! Thanks- I couldn't figure that out.>Once FSBrowser is brought up in FS9 (File/Browser) the>window can be "undocked" and resized or minimized. How does FSBrowser behave when you click on a link that opens a PDF in a new window? The problem I'm having now using the kneeboard as a browser is that many planning sites open PDF charts in new windows, which causes FS to minimize and the kneeboard to return to its home page.-Simon
September 5, 200322 yr I honestly don't recall the effect of PDF files in FSBrowser. According to MeatWater, if you start your Adobe Reader and minimize (running it in the background), then accessing the VPN 'kneeboard' in FS9, the PDF files/pages won't have an adverse effect on FS9.
