anyone else getting this? my water doesn't look anything like the screens...it just looks like the plain water when u only leave detail for water and no reflections. My Display settings are set correctly.My System:P4C 2.6GhzRadeon 9800 128Mb512MB pc3200 ram

Are you sure that you have unzipped the files into your scenery/world/texture directory? Since this is replacing the original textures with darker ones, as well as toning down the reflections, the change should be noticable immediatly. Though, depending upon time of day, and cloud cover, there were times, when I was flying today, that the change from the old textures was pretty subtle. Most of the time, though, the difference is striking.

yeah, i'm sure. I saw them today after the new textures immediately 'popped' after 20 minutes of flying. 20 minutes before they popped, I was flying just the dark water textures with no reflections even though water effects is on high in the display settings. I think i'm gonna remove these textures.

You will find if you have the default fine weather up they do not reflect as much as the originals.Which is good as the originals are way to reflective.Try with just blue sky.The new textures rock.

Where can I get it? I searched avsim no files like that. Maybe I am searching the wrong way.
