hello all., just wondered if there is any way of overiding the atc pop up menus in fs9 - perhaps 3rd party software such as radar contact or voice recognition templates might do the trickthanks for any suggestionscheers.. dan (fs newbie)

When you say overiding the pop up, do you mean shutting it off?If so, go into Options->settings->ATC and shut it off. ;-)

thanks for reply., i assume this disables atc altogether, however i want to run atc as normal only without the command appearing as a window on the screen - i believe this was possible in fs2002 cheers..dan -}

No. If you uncheck the box "Auto-open ATC Window" This will not shut off the ATC, only the pop-up window. To manually open and close the ATC pop-up the default key is one above the "tab" key and to the left of the "1" key(didn't know if you would be able to tell what it looked like if typed ( ` ))
