HELP: FSX and Mouse Problem

Featured Replies

Morning :( , In a desperate plea for help, I'm turning to the experts here. For some apparent unknown reason, FSX has stopped recognizing the programmable buttons on my mouse. I have a Logitech MX600 Wireless Gamer Mouse and used the Logitech SetPoint 6.1 software to program several keys into the accessory buttons on the mouse. All of these have since suddenly stopped working. I can call up Notepad in the middle of flying and the programmed keys work perfectly. Furthermore, I can use the programmable keys in ARMA II, Civ, Fallout, LOMAC, etc. Only FSX refuses to recognize them. To complicate things further, I ran to Best Buy and bought a RazorFish programmable wireless mouse and the same phenomenon was still present :( . Next I removed my Logitech G940 and the related software and still no change. For the past year, the mouse and FSX have worked flawlessly together. I'm a pretty competent computer guy but three hours of trouble shooting and I can't for the life of me figure this one out. I depend on the mouse to manipulate FSX particularly when I'm studying for my Masters while on long flights. ANY SUGGESTIONS would be greatly appreciated.
